These great multifunctional mats have ties and come in a patterned floral material that is plain on the other side. Combine this lovely lightweight non-toxic mattress with one or two ZABUTON CUSHIONS (80cm x 75cm x 3 cm) that you move around as you work on your client and you have the perfect Massage mat .

Sitting, sleeping and kneeling on freshly packed kapok has been likened to resting on air. This lovely large sized, easy to handle mat/mattress has been filled with luscious Kapok that is a wonderful lightweight sustainable alternative to chemically treated cotton and synthetics.
Naturally organic Kapok is hypo-allergenic with its own anti-bacterial properties and comes from the seed pod of a majestic tree. Kapok is the most sustainable, environmentally friendly, economical, fair trade natural eco fiber fill for pillows, cushions, mattresses, bolsters and doona’s. Kapok is soft yet supportive.
Kapok fiber is water and moisture resistant. The fiber is wild harvested in the villages of Indonesia from Timor to Java. Gathered in season, then cleaned and stored for sale to the town centers or for use in the village.
These mattresses will 'fluff' up when placed in direct sunlight. Fortnightly is preferable but not critical.

We offer 2 grades of kapok fiber in varying quantities for you to create your own fabulous kapok products. Ideal non-toxic fill for soft toys. We have Certified Organic Cotton Shell pillows filled with grade one kapok and a zipper down the center of the back that is made here in Australia.
