Called Kalai in local Timorese language this bag has been created from string that has been hand knotted in traditional bilum style. Smaller than their Papuan counterparts these bags are usually taken to market or used to store items in and then hung up inside the huts from the exposed rafters. From the Oinlasi area of central West Timor.
