Baskets are woven from the leaves of the Lontar Palm. The headstrap/shoulderstrap from gewang grass. Traditionally used as a headstrap basket for carrying all kinds of goods about. Ideal for shopping, toy or shoe storage and excellent laundry baskets. Not suited to being left in the weather. Made in East Timor and East Timorese refugee camps in West Timor.
