Newly handmade in TTS West Timor following the traditional method from a solid piece of Eucalyptus that has been colored. The body of this guitar is very deep creating a bass tone. The strings are fed straight into the wood bridge at the base of the body and the bridge is at an angle with bamboo keys. The carver has made 4 air holes and neck and base are from one piece of timber. Great sound. 

It does play a tune they and accompany the handmade violins , drums , gongs and flutes. Local Timorese language name for guitar is sbo biol makosu.
