Beautifully aged with deep shiny patina this club or truncheon had multiple uses according to the mountian man who sold me this piece. I have not personally witnessed any being used but the villagers claim that these truncheons are used for discipline as well as cracking open old coconuts. I am unsure what timber it is but the weight suggests red cedarwood or meranti. Rare item.
